Which college major would be better for someone who wants to get into robotics and building mechanical robotic arms and why?

First of all – good pick on a subject to study! My cousin is currently working on his Master's Degree & also working on that topic. all of those majors are so integrated that there really is not much of a difference. however, I would major in mechanical engineering & minor in computer science. taking some physics, chemistry & anatomy won't hurt either.
